- Peace Flags 4 Chaos is a journey from the London Docklands to the English countryside. Beginning during a winter artists' residency in an empty office building near Canary Wharf, the dramatic scale of development in the former docks, now a global financial centre, is contrasted with the empty lanes and fields of summer in Somerset, working backstage during the build of Glastonbury Festival. The film captures the magical Strawberry Moon on the eve of the Summer Solstice, in the lead up to the festival, and the torrential rain in the melancholy aftermath of the announcement of the EU referendum result, which coincided with the opening day of music. The rubbish filled landscape during the clear up, acts as a poignant metaphor for the break down of society that the divisive referendum campaign ignited across the United Kingdom.
